  Mr. James R. Perry, of Covington, was united in marriage to Miss Susie McCalla
of Sheffield, Rockdale County, on Wednesday, 15th. Rev. Mr. Eakes officiated. 
The groom is one of our most prosperous and popular business men- he is a 
gentleman of strict honesty and unquestioned integrity- while the bride is a
cultured and accomplished young lady, who possesses all the qualifications of 
mind and heart to bless the home and cheer the life of her noble husband. May 
they be happy, healthy, and prosperous from the bridal to the tomb.
