The Georgia Enterprise, April 15, 1887
  Mr. G. W. Allen, of Newton County, will be married to Miss Correl Watkins, of
Jackson, Ga., on Monday April 25th, at 6 o'clock, p. m. The ceremony will take
place at the home of the bride's parents, Colonel and Mrs. B. F. Watkins. The 
happy couple will visit the groom's parents, in Covington, on the 26th or 27th,
where a grand reception and heart-felt congratulations will be tendered. We wish
our young friends all the joy and pleasure which a life of love and hope can
grant.
