P. Clay, of Monroe, and Miss Sarah Antionette O'Kelly, of Covington, were united in marriage at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. E. A. O'Kelly, in this place, on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16, 1887, Rev. W. A. Farris, of Oxford, officiating. The groom is one of Walton county's most prosperous young farmers and is a son of Hon. A. M. Clay, of Walnut Grove, while the bride is one of our most charming and vivacious young ladies. The many friends of Miss "Nettie" regret to lose her from our city, but nevertheless, they extend congratulations and wish for her and her young husband a long, prosperous and happy wedded life.
