P. Melson, of Jonesboro, was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. Corley, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. T. Corley, on the morning of June 16. Rev. J. F. Edens, of Crawfordville, officiated. The attendants were: Mr. Wm T. Corley and Miss Nora Melson; Mr. W. T. Franklin, of Atlanta, and Miss Georgia Langford, of Conyers; Mr. Robt. R. Fowler and Miss Addie Sue Edens, of Crawfordville. The bride is one of our most charming young ladies and will make the home of her husband one of joy and happiness. The groom is a prosperous merchant of Jonesboro and a cultured Christian gentleman. May peace and plenty bless them through all the vicissitudes of this life.
