The Georgia Enterprise,  May 8, 1874
  Capt. A. T. Luckie, Chief Engineer of the Athens Fire Department, was married
to Miss Lizzie Alexander on the morning of April 30. Capt. Luckie is a son of 
the late Judge Luckie, many years the popular Ordinary of Newton county. Miss 
Alexander is a daughter of Dr. Alexander, a prominent and well known citizen of
Athens. To friend Alfred we offer the right hand of fellowship and trust he and 
his elegant companion will live long and prosper.

This is ALFRED TILGHMAN LUCKIE, youngest son (#7 of
their 8 children) of William Dickinson Luckie and his
wife Eliza Bucker. Lizzie was Elizabeth Augusta
Alexander.
