The Georgia Enterprise, October 10, 1873
     Mr. Thomas Burney, of the Atlanta Herald, was married at Indian Springs,
last Tuesday night, to Miss Riordon, of Savannah. Tom Burney is a noble, 
generous man, and we are glad to hear that he has at last married a lady worthy
of his heart and hand. May the gentle breezes of love and affection ever 
peacefully play around his hearth and home, and joy and happiness be scattered
like rose leaves upon his pathway from the bridal to the tomb.
