H. Carroll, Jr., was united in marriage to Miss Mae Hicks, on Thursday eve, June 24th. Both of Covington. Rev. H. S. Bradley, of Oxford, officiated. The groom is a popular and progressive young man, being in the mercantile business at Midway, having just bought out Messrs. Huson Bros. The bride is a lovely and accomplished young lady, being a daughter of the late Mr. N. H. Hicks. Wherever known she is admired and highly esteemed. The attendants were: Mr. Joe Z. Johnson and Miss Mattie R. Carroll; Prof. R. E. Carroll and Miss Eura Woodruff. A number of friends and relatives witnessed the happy event. Refreshments were served in lavish abundance. May peace, health and happiness bless this blissful union from the bridal to the tomb.
