Harwell to Miss Lizzie Hendrix was solemnized at the home of the brides parents, last Sunday morning at nine o’clock, Rev. A. C. Cantrell officiating. The parlor and hall were tastefully decorated with cut flowers and potted plants, the stair-railing being hidden in green. Promptly at the appointed hour the attendants, Miss C. B. Glass and Mr. Lovie Harwell, of Newborn, Miss Mattie Hendrix, sister to the bride, and Dr. J. T. Pitts, of Newborn descended the stairway and entered the parlor, followed by the bride and groom, where an impressive ceremony was performed. The bride wore a pretty dress of white albatross with trimmings of Messaline De So??, lace and ribbon. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hendrix, and greatly loved by all, while the groom is a highly respected young man and worthy of the fair young bride he has won. Other guest present were: Mr. and Mrs. June Harwell, Mrs. Emma Harwell, of Leakton, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. McCreasy, of Buford, Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Vance, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hendrix of Newborn, Dr. and Mrs. Ragsdale, of Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Will Harwell, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hendrix, Misses Lillian Starr, Mary Lou Harwell, Mary Hays, May Harwell, Irene Hays, Messrs. Pratt Harwell, Tom Harwell, Joe Epps and others. V.
