Rev. J. E. Dickey, of Oxford, officiated. The marriage came off at the church in Midway. The groom is a gentleman of honor and integrity, who has been connected with the popular mercantile establishment of Mr. S. P. Thompson for several years, and who is deservedly popular in business and social circles. The bride is a lovely and accomplished young lady, highly esteemed and dearly beloved by all who know her. She has been in the millinery business with Miss Mattie R. Carroll for some time and has made many friends here, all of whom wish for herself and gallant husband a long life of peace and plenty.
