Georgia Enterprise, November 4, 1897
     On Thursday evening last, Aaron Kennon, of Oxford, was united in marriage 
to Lelia Hudson, of Covington. Rev. R. W. Gibson officiated. All colored. The 
bride is a popular and most excellent young woman, and has the confidence and 
esteem of all who know her. The groom is an industrious man and is well thought 
of by all classes of people. The marriage came off at the home of the bride and 
was a grand affair. A magnificent supper was served. We return thanks for a 
large box filled with wedding cake, bananas, apples, grapes, etc., and wish for 
the happy pair a long life of peace and plenty.
