Georgia Enterprise, November 25, 1897
HARRIS - O’KELLY
     Mr. Joseph Harris was united in marriage to Mrs. Eliza A. O’Kelly 
Wednesday evening, Nov. 17th, 1897. Both of Covington. Rev. Dr. Morgan 
Callaway, of Emory College, officiated. The ceremony came off at the home of 
the bride and was witnessed by several relatives and friends of the happy 
couple. The groom is chief marshal of Covington, was a brave and  gallant 
soldier and is a courteous and companionable gentleman. The bride is a most 
excellent Christian lady, whom to know is to admire and love. She possesses
every qualification of mind and heart to make the life of her gallant husband 
one of peace and happiness. May the blessings of Heaven be bestowed upon this 
matrimonial union.
