D. Travis was united in marriage to Miss Fannie Maude Bomar. Both of Covington. Rev. D. J. C. Winge, of Carrollton, officiated. There was a large number of friends and relatives in attendance. Many handsome, useful and valuable presents were presented to the happy couple. Refreshments were served and a delightful time experienced by all who had the pleasure of attending. The groom is a popular and successful physician and surgeon and stands deserved high in the estimation of all who know him. The bride is a most lovely and accomplished young lady who will gladden the heart and brighten the home of her gallant husband. The newly married pair left on the noon train for Jacksonville, St. Augustine and other interesting points in Florida. Upon their return they will be “at home” to their friends in their happy home on Floyd street.
