Hollis - Soock
     Cards are out announcing the marriage of Miss Mattie Hollis to Mr. John 
Herman Soock Jr., which will be solemnized by Rev. Bishop C. Kinlock Nelson of 
Atlanta on Tuesday evening April 25th, at the home of the bride’s mother. Miss 
Hollis is one of Covington’s popular and charming young women. She was 
graduated from Belmont College at Nashville, and since her debut in society has 
been greatly admired. While Mr. Soock is a prominent young electrician and has 
won the esteem of a large circle of friends both socially and in business.
     Mr. and Mrs. Soock will be at home to their friends after May the tenth, 
at the Oglethorpe, Brunswick, Ga.

Hollis - Soock
     At the bride’s home in this city the marriage of Miss Mattie Louise Hollis 
to Mr. John H. Soock took place on Friday evening, April 25 at six o’clock. The 
parlors were beautifully decorated with the choicest
flowers of the season, and the ceremony was very impressive. But few friends 
were present to witness the ceremony. The marriage was solemnized by Rev. 
Pierce of Atlanta, who in a few choice words made them man and wife.
     After the ceremony was conducted, they departed on the seven o’clock train 
for Brunswick where they will be at home to their many friends after May 10 at 
the Oglethorpe. We extend our congratulations and wish for them a long and 
happy life.
