Stamps A beautiful wedding ceremony was solemnized at the spacious home of Mr. N. C. Lee, the father of the handsome bride, at 10 a. m. Wednesday, April 19th, 1899. The Rev. Mr. S. B. Ledbetter, the officiating clergyman and new pastor of the Methodist Church gave a very appropriate and graceful rendition of the solemn rite. The contracting parties were Miss Claude Estelle Lee and Mr. Abner C. Stamps. Miss Lee is an attractive brunette and will be missed in her circle of friends, while Mr. Stamps is a popular traveling salesman and a member of the firm of Fain and Stamps, of Atlanta, and is the son of Judge J. T. Stamps, of McWhorter, Ga. The wedding was private, only a few friends and near relatives of the bride and groom were present. The parlor was elaborately decorated in white and green and the bride carried a lovely bouquet of rare flowers and ferns. She was elegantly dressed in a suit of soft gray, embroidered in silks of shaded tints. The bridal party left immediately for Atlanta, and thence for New York and other points of interest. The best wishes of friends are extended for their future happiness.
