W. Wright, were united in holy bonds of matrimony at the home of the bride’s parents, at McDonough, Ga. Miss Woodruff is well and favorably known here, and is a young lady of much beauty, and intelligence. Mr. Wright is one of Jackson’s brainiest business men, and is well known throughout the State. The McDonough Weekly has the following complimentary notice of their nuptial: At the residence of the bride’s parents in this city, at half past four o’clock Wednesday afternoon last, Miss Verna Woodruff was happily united in marriage to Mr. Will W. Wright, Rev. F. S. Hudson, pastor of the Methodist church performing the ceremony. The marriage was one of those quiet home weddings which are always so impressive, a goodly number of relatives and friends of the happy couple being present to witness the nuptials. After the words had been spoken which sealed their vows as man and wife, the bride and groom left immediately for Jackson, where they will make their future home. The bride is a young lady of rare beauty and charming personality, and is deservedly popular with a wide circle of friends, while the groom is an excellent young gentleman, prominent in the business and social circles of his city, and bright indeed is the future for them. A shower of rice was cast upon them by their friends as they were leaving the house and boarding the train. That their lives may be replete with happiness is the combined wish of hosts of friends.
