The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. B. Hay, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Covington, Ga., in which the ring ceremony was used. Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. H. G. Smith sang, “The Hour That Gave Me You,” accompanied by Mrs. O. L. Childs at the piano, who then rendered the processional from Lohengrin, and during the ceremony, “The Melody of Love.” The bride was becomingly gowned in French blue georgette with accessories to match. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom mingled among the guests, during which time refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder then left for Warm Springs and other points in Georgia, and will be at home to their friends at Ellaville after August 15th.
