Newton County Georgia Probate Court

(Marriage License)
State of Georgia, Newton County.
To any Minister of the Gospel, Judge, or Justice of the Peace to Celebrate:
You are hereby authorized to join in the HONORABLE STATE OF MATRIMONY, J. F. 
Chapman and Mattie Dial according to the Rites of your Church, provided there
be no lawful cause to obstruct the same, according to the Constitution and Laws
of this State, and for so doing this shall be your sufficient license.
Given under my hand and seal, this 27th day of December 1878.
