Mabry-Avery
  At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Welch, of Rocky
Plains, Mr. S. H. Avery and Mrs. Lola Mabry were united in marriage by the
Rev. Mr. Leverett of Locust Grove, on Thursday, Dec. 1. The maids of honor
were Miss Claude Cowan, of Kings and Miss Lora Stroud, of Snapping Shoals.
Those present were, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Mabry, Mr and Mrs. G. W. Avery, Mr
and Mrs. R. L. Cowan, Mrs. Lemma Piper, Mrs. G. Evans, Mr and Mrs. Boyce
Davis, Misses Mamie Cowan, Alma Chestnut, Lora Stroud, Claude Cowan and
Mr. Carl Chestnut.
