The Georgia Enterprise, March 30, 1883
  Mr. D. F. P. Montgomery, of Morgan County, was recently married to Mrs. Mary
A. Lackey, of Newton. Elder William Adams performed the ceremony in a beautiful
impressive manner. The handsome groom and lovely bride received the 
congratulations of friends present with smiles that showed both were extremely
happy and well pleased. Mr. John Adams was present, and tells us the groom 
exhibited no signs of his rheumatism, but appeared quite active on the momentous
occasion. The Enterprise extends its good wishes to the happy pair and asks for
them a long life of love, joy and prosperity.
