Berry, at the home of the bride’s parents, Sunday afternoon, near Covington. The porch on which the wedding took place was beautifully decorated. Around the edge of the porch were vines and ferns in which clusters of Golden Rod were entwined. Around the columns vines, with clusters of red berries, circled, giving an unusual brilliancy, softened by the sunset glow. To the strains of Mendelssohn, rendered by Mrs. Carl Park, the couple marched out and stood in front of a great bank of ferns, over which was an arch gracefully draped with vines. The bride was dressed in a going away suit of midnight blue gabardine, with a waist of flesh colored Georgette crepe which harmonized with her beautiful brown eyes and hair. Her hat was a rich velvet turban, trimmed in a wreath of gilded leaves and an effective white aigrette. She carried an exquisite bouquet of brides roses and ferns. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Askew, Pastor of Almon Methodist Church. The couple left immediately for the home of the groom.
