The Georgia Enterprise, June 9, 1892
     Mr. Stephen A. BROWN was united in marriage to Miss Leila PARKS on the 
evening of June 1st. Rev. Dr. J. S. MOORE officiated. All of Newton County. 
     The bride is a young lady of grace, beauty and culture, while the groom is 
an industrious, honorable and progressive young man, well worthy the precious 
treasure he has won. May joy, health, peace and plenty bless this blissful 
union. The happy couple will make their home at the former family residence of 
the groom’s father and mother, in Stansell’s district, five miles west of town.
