Porter announces the marriage of his daughter, Miss Margaret Elizabeth Porter, to Mr. Arthur Lewis, the wedding having taken place yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the beautiful Porter home in Shirley Hills. Dr. Walter Anthony performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate families. As Miss Porter, Mrs. Lewis enjoyed a wide popularity both as a student at Wesleyan College of which institute she is a graduate, and since her return from New York City, where she graduated at Columbia University. For the past two years she has been a teacher of English in the Lanier High School for Girls. Mr. Lewis whose home was formerly in Dawson, is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and is a prominent young attorney of this city. On their return from their wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis will make their home in the Biltmore Apartments. Macon Telegraph.
