P. Estes was quietly solemnized on Wednesday afternoon, December 18th, at five o’clock, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. N. A. Sigman, in East Newton. The ceremony was performed by Elder R. L. Cook, and only the immediate families and a few friends were present. After the ceremony and congratulations, they drove to the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Estes, near Rutledge. The bride is a charming young lady, and never looked lovelier than on this occasion, becomingly attired in a suit of blue French serge, with hat to match. The groom is a prosperous and energetic young farmer of Morgan county. After the holidays they will begin housekeeping in the neat little cottage prepared for them. The very best wishes and heartiest congratulations of a host of friends go with them.
