A. Smith on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 12th, at 2 o’clock, was solemnized the marriage of Miss Bertha Smith and Mr. Howard Skinner, Rev. J. C. Forrester of Hoschton, officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by a large number of relatives and friends. The parlor was beautifully decorated with smilax, ferns and palms. The bride and groom stood under beneath an arch of smilax. The bride was tastefully attired in a becoming gown of white silk with point lace, and carried a lovely bouquet of white flowers and ferns. The color scheme being white and green. Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom, accompanied by a few intimate friends, left for their future home in Mansfield. The charming character and sweet disposition of the bride has won for her a host of friends. The groom is also very popular.
