The home was beautifully decorated with ferns evergreen and rose, and presented a panorama of great beauty. To the strains of the wedding march, the bridal party entered the parlor, the groom with his best man, Mr. Terrell Hardeman and the bride with her maid of honor Miss Emma Kate Smith. The party met beneath a large bell arranged of white roses and evergreens, and while the gentle melody, “Hearts and Flowers” was being played, Rev. Joe Winburn spoke the words that blended these two lives into one. Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party and several friends drove to the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hardeman in this city where an elegant reception was tendered them. The bride is one of Jasper county’s fairest daughters. Of rare beauty, she possesses those characteristics that make the true gentlewoman. The groom is one of the most popular young men of this city, in both a business and social way, strong in character and intellect he, has taken his place, and rightly so, in the forefront of the young business men of this city. The Leader extends to them its best wishes. Mansfield Leader.
