D. Mitchell, of Americus, Ga., was a recent interesting event and was beautiful in its quiet simplicity. Mr. Mitchell and Miss Spear had this pretty little romance woven into their young lives during the former's student days at old Emory College. The bride was lovely in a dress of silver grey silk trimmed with cream satin, the dainty hat, shoes and gloves to match. She carried a bouquet of valley lillies. Rev. T. J. Christian, pastor of the Methodist Church, performed the ceremony in a very impressive manner. Miss Spear has many noble, lovely traits of character and many sincere wishes for a happy life are wafted to them by all who have known them. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell left immediately after the ceremony for Demorest, and will make their home at Smithville, where Mr. Mitchell is a very successful farmer.
