The Georgia Enterprise, February 16, 1888
     Mr. P. H. Hutchins was united in marriage to Miss Jane Taylor, on the 
evening of February 9th. Rev. J. M. Brittain performed the interesting ceremony 
in elegant style. The marriage came off at the residence of the bride’s mother, 
in this city, and quite a number of special friends of the contracting parties 
were present to witness the happy affair. The attendants were: Mr. John T. 
Taylor with Miss Emma Wright and Mr. H. B. Rogers with Miss Tanie Hill.
     The groom is one of our most progressive merchants and is a young lady of 
grace and beauty, possessing every qualification to make her husband a true and 
devoted life companion. This is a union of hearts as well as a union of hands. 
May peace and plenty, joy and contentment, bless them all along the journey of 
life.
