Butler, which took place Tuesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Wiley, near this city. Shortly after the ceremony, which was impressively performed by Rev. Mr. Forrester, of Hoschton, the bridal couple and guest repaired to the nearby home of the groom and partook of an elegant six o’clock dinner given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Butler. Miss Wiley is one of Newton’s beautiful and attractive young ladies and has a host of friends who extend her hearty good wishes; while the groom is an excellent young gentleman and planter, and will farm at Walnut Grove, where they’ll reside in the future.
