The Georgia Enterprise, December 20, 1888
     Mr. ISAAC W. MEADORS was united in marriage to Miss MATTIE WOODRUFF, 
Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 12th. Rev. Dr. J. M. BRITTAIN officiated. All of 
Covington, Ga. 
     The groom is a gentleman of energy and industry and possesses a kind and 
generous nature, while the lovely bride is endowed with a sweet disposition and 
possesses every qualification to make the life and home of her devoted husband 
happy and contented. 
     Doubtless friend Isaac feels toward his “better half” like the poet when 
he sang unto his lady love.
