E. Wright request your presence at the marriage of their daughter, Clara, to Charles F. Adams, Tuesday evening, May fifth at eight o’clock. Methodist Church, Midway, Ala., 1891.” The prospective groom is one of Covington’s most energetic and solid business young men, who possesses every qualification to make the noble young lady, whose heart he has won, a true and loyal husband. In advance we wish them both a life of prosperity, joy, health and happiness. * May 7, 1891 MARRIED ADAMS-WRIGHT On Tuesday evening last in the Methodist Church at Midway, Ala., Mr. CHARLES F. ADAMS, of Covington, Ga., was united in marriage to Miss CLARA WRIGHT, of Midway, Ala. Rev. J. W. Solomon, of Seal, Ala., assisted by Rev. C. B. Tilly, of Midway, performed the interesting ceremony. The church is said to have been beautifully and appropriately decorated for the occasion and many friends of the contracting parties were present to witness the marriage. Mr. S. P. Smith, of Covington, was “best man” for the groom. The names of the other attendants we are unable to give in this issue. Mr. and Mrs. Adams will arrive in Covington Thursday afternoon and will board with Mrs. W. T. Wells, where they will be “at home” to their friends.
