CUPID’S WORK, MARRIAGES
     Mr. Wilkins Willingham was married to Miss Emma Wright at 4 p. m., Nov. 
20th. Both of Covington. Rev. Dr. W. A. Candler, President of Emory College, 
officiated. The groom is a most excellent gentleman, being energetic, honest 
and progressive, while the bride is a young lady of worth and true merit, 
possessing a kind, generous heart and a sweet disposition, endowed with every 
qualification to make her husband happy and his and their home a little 
paradise here on earth. May peace and plenty, health and happiness bless this 
union from the bridal to the tomb.

Since ivy grew and myrtle blew
And morning brought the sun.”
