Lane, of the State & County afore said being of sound mind, & disposing memory although sick in body, do ordain & publish this my last will & Testament, revoking all others. Item 1st I commit my body to the dust, with the rites of Christian burial, & my soul to God, through the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom I believe & trust for salvation. Item 2nd I will that all my just debts be paid. Item 3 After paying my debts, I will that the balance of my Estate be kept together for the support & maintenance of my wife & children & for the education of my children. Should my wife inter marry again, then I will that she have from my estate one equal share. (regarding the numbers of shares is made up of hers & each child that then be alive). Item 4 I appoint Lucus L. Mittick Executor of this last will & testament, & on his death I appoint Lovie__ S. Mittick my Executor, & I hereby insist my acting Executor with full power to sell any portion of my estate, or buy any other property with the assets of said estate, in in any & every manner to change by purchase or sale, the nature of my estate, whenever in his judgement it will _____ the ______ of the same.
