I Hezakiah Luckie of the state of Georgia and county of Newton being sick and weak in body but sound in mind memory and understanding, do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following. For the love and affection I bear unto my wife Jane Luckie, I give and bequeath unto the said Jane my wife, the following negros, Irene, Alsaey and Jerry. I also give and bequeath unto Jane my wife, one sorrel Horde, one Gig, Five beds & bedstead and furniture belonging to the same. One Beuro, one Trunk, one tea table, one folding table, one dropping table, and looking (glass) and six Rush Bottom chairs. For the love and affection I have for my son William _ Luckie I give and bequeath unto him the following negro slaves (viz) Jack & Jimmy and Dicy, and two hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid out of the money arising from the sale of the property hereinafter to be disposed of. For the love and affection I have for my son Samuel H. Luckie, I give and bequeath unto him the following negro slaves (viz) Washington and Sophia, also one hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid out of the money arising from the sale of the property hereinafter to be disposed of. For the love and affection I have for my son Alexander S. Luckie, I give and bequeath unto him the following negro slaves (viz) Joe, Wiatt, Tiller and Tabitha, also one hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid out of the money arising from the sale of the property hereinafter to be disposed of. For the love and affection I have for my daughter Maryann Pace I give and bequeath unto her the following negro slaves, viz. Jane, Cato, Elvina, Archibald, Phebe, James and Orry. For the love and affection I have for my daughter Julia E. Wilburn, I give and bequeath her the following named negro slaves (viz) Lucy, Amy, Alexander, Miles, London and Rachael, also seventy five dollars to be paid out of the money arisng from the sale of the property hereinafter to be disposed of. It is my will and desire that all the property not herein conveyed away or otherwise disposed of be sold and after paying my debts and the legacies in money be granted to my sons William F. Luckie, Samuel H. Luckie & Alexander S. Luckie and daughter Julia E. Wilburn, the money and other evidences of debt arising from the sale thereof to be equally divided between my wife Jane Luckie, William F. Luckie, Samuel H. Luckie, Alexander S. Luckie, Maryann Pace & Julia E. Wilburn. I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son William F. Luckie, Alexander S. Luckie & Columbus D. Pace, Executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testament at anytime heretofore by me made and do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witnesses whereof I have at the bottom of the second sheet of this my will (the whole being included in two sheets). Subscribed my mark and affixed my seal the Sixteenth day of December in the year of our lord One Thousand Eight hundred and thirty five.
