Ordinary Will Book I, 1823, 1851, page 8 In the name of God Amen, I, Isham Berry of the County of Newton and State of Geogia, being weak of body but of sound mind and memory and knowing the mortality of man do dispose of my worldly effects following to wit: It is my will that my Executor pay all my just debts. I give to my wife Sally Berry and my daughter Elizabeth Berry my negro man Epex and my negro woman Divy, my lot of land sixty-two in tenth district of Henry County: my sorrel mare, each a bed and furniture, half my cattle and hogs and my farming tools during their natural life and at her death to be equally divided amongst my children to wit: Mary Hart, Charles M. Berry, James Berry, Thomas Berry, Rhody Berry, George W. Berry, Cynthia Berry, and William P. Berry. I give my son Jesse Berry five dollars I give to by daughter Judy Winfrey five dollars I give to my daughter Sally Roach five dollars I give to my daughter Rhody Berry one bed with furniture I give to my son William P. Berry, my negro boy George and one bed and furniture. It is my desire that the rest of my property both real and personal be equally divided amonst the following children to wit: Mary Hart, Charles M. Berry, James Berry, Thomas D. Berry,Rhody Berry, George W. Berry, Cynthia Berry, and William P. Berry. Lastly I constitute and appoint Charles M. Berry and James Berry, Executors of this my last will and testament hereby confirming all other wills or will by me made.
