I Jennie King of said State and County being of age, but of sound mind and disposing mind and memory, knowing that I must shortly depart this life, deem it right & proper both as respect of the family & myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me. I do therefore make this my last will & Testament. First I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner and a tombstone placed over my grave. My soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for Salvation through the ____ & atonement of the blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Secondly I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executor hereinafter named and appointed. Thirdly I give bequeath and devise to my Brother Augustus King, one gold watch and ____ to his own proper use benefit and behoof forever with full power to dispose of the same by will or otherwise as he may deem proper. Fourthly I give bequeath and devise to my mother Francis King all the money and notes, my half interest in the gray mule, cow and calf, half interest in the hogs, half in the wheat, one third of the crop made during the year 1877, one bed stead and bedding, one rocking chair, clothing, one table and two trunks. To her own proper use benefit and behoof forever with full power to dispose of the same by will or otherwise as she may deem proper. Fifthly I give bequeath and devise to my niece Jennie Daniel, one sewing machine, my mother Francis King is to take charge of the machine untill she is of age, then to her own use, benefit and behoof forever. Sixthly I hereby constitute and appoint my mother Francis King, Executor of this my last will and Testament this October 15th 1877. Turner who being duly sworn deposed and ____ That he saw Jennie King sign publish and declare the annexed as her last Will and Testament while of sound deposing mind and memory-that deponent subscribed the same as witness at the special instance and request of Testatrix and in her presence and in the presence of S. J. Curnen(?), Susan Jane Mercer and Henry E. Parker who all subscribed the same as witnesses in the presence of Testatrix and of each other and that said Will was executed freely and voluntarily by Testatrix on the 15th of October 1877.
