Herbert J. “Bud” Davis, 64, of Statham, died Thursday, July 6, 2006.

Born in Barrow County, he was the son of Frances Jackson Davis of Statham and 
the late R.B. Davis. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Davis 
and James Davis.

Survivors include nephews, Glenn Davis, Statham, and James B. Davis, Tignal; 
nieces, Jane Edwards and Lisa Beard, both of Danielsville; and several other 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 9, at Smith Memory Chapel with the 
Revs. Bud McDonald and Tom Lang officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial 
Gardens.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
