Duggan Closed His Eyes To Sleep Thursday Last Thursday night, October 15th at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Duggan, their son, Mr. W.R. (Billie), answered the call of his Master and closed his eyes to awake when the Master calls. Billie had been confined to his room for the past several months. He spent several months at Alto, Ga., with the hope of regaining his health. But the food was so bad that he could not get along with it. So he was brought back home, where the best of medical attention and loving hands could administer to his wants. Billie was in his twenty-third year. He had been employed at Charlotte, N.C., and was well liked by his employer, but had to give up his position in order to regain his health. Billie bore his sufferings without a murmer. And not until the last did he give up. He had the courage that is hardly conceived and always said to his friends and loved.
