A. J. MEDLIN Athens Banner, Tuesday, March 8, 1904 Transcribed by Connie Epps Bond July 29, 2007 MR. A. J. MEDLIN DIED SUNDAY Mr. A. J. Medlin, of High Shoals, died at his home in that place Sunday at the age of seventy-eight years. He was the senior member of the firm of A. J. Medlin & Sons and was a prominent Mason. The funeral will be this morning at High Shoals. Mr. Medlin, when a young man moved to Clarke county from North Carolina and in 1848 moved to High Shoals where he had lived ever since. He leaves four sons and three daughters Messrs J P Medlin, G. W. Medlin, T. W. Medlin and A. J. Medlin, Mrs. Marietta Williams, Mrs. J. A. Williams and Mrs. S. O. Osborne, all of High Shoals.
