OBITUARY PETE O’DILLON

Pete O’Dillon 

Watkinsville – The Rev. Pete O’Dillon, 66, died Tuesday, Aug. 6. 

Mr. O’Dillon was born in Oconee County and had lived most of his life there. 

Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Ros Chapel Baptist Church.  The 
Revs. William Atha and Cutis Lee Hammond will officiate and burial will be in 
Evergreen Memorial Park. 

Survivors include his wife, Alene M. Odillon; four daughters, Sharlyn 
Whitehead and Brenda Townsend, Bogart, Patsy Harvey and Dana San U, 
Watkinsville; a son, Jimmy O’Dillon, Watkinsville; three sisters, Daisy 
Gunter, Watkinsville, Tina Pugh and  Evelyn  Woods, Athens; a brother Henry 
O’Dillon, Athens; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

The family is at the residence and will receive friends tonight and Thursday 
from 7-9 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
