Marie Watkins, 57, of Bogart, died Sunday, July 31, 2005.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Watkins, Bogart, Elizabeth and Barbara 
Watkins, both of Athens; sisters, Lizzie Mae Collins, Atlanta, Ella Mae Scott, 
Jefferson, Linda Lue Watkins, Athens, and Betty Watkins, Bogart; brothers, 
Jimmie Lee Smith, Trenton, N.J., Joe Lewis Watkins, Hull, and Bobby Watkins, 
Athens; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, at 2 p.m., at Fork Bethel 
Baptist Church, Lexington, with the Rev. R.E. Cooper officiating. Burial will 
be in the church cemetery.

Mack & Payne Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
