The cover of this Bible is missing but the New Testament title page is intact.

Additional Comments:
This Bible belonged to Cora Elizabeth Hansford Adkins, my great grandmother.  My
grandmother, Ophelia Adkins Bryant, gave me the Bible.  It is a typical early to
mid-twentieth century church Bible.  Black bonded soft backed Bible, much used.
 Some of the writing is my great Grandmother’s, some not.  The original is
lovely script.  She probably got someone with beautiful hand writing to fill-in
the original entries, hence the mistake on her birth year.  That was a typical
custom in Oglethorpe Co. I believe that Doris’ middle name was Bernice not
Barnes.  She died of diphtheria. My great grandmother was a voracious reader,
therefore the unusual names of her children.
