Reverse of tile page – “No, not cold beneath the grasses, Not close-walled
within the tomb; Rather in our Father’s mansion, Living in another room.”

There are no “Family Record” pages in this Bible, but Mattie Lou and later,
O’Neal used two blank pages between the Old Testament and New Testament to
record family information.  They did not have children of their own, but
recorded Mattie Lou’ family.

Additional Comments:
This is a typical black bonded leather church Bible of the early to
mid-twentieth century in fair shape.  O’Neal Bryant was my great uncle, son of
William Avery Bryant, Jr. and Martha Lissonia Hewell Bryant.  The Bible simply
became mine by default to care for; I remember Aunt Mattie Lou as a sweet and
