Pass We, the undersigned committee, on behalf of the church of Millstone, offer the following resolutions as touching the death of our beloved brother, G.J. Pass. Resolved 1st. That in his mysterious, unfortunate and untimely death we have lost one of our most faithful, most useful and devoted members, and that our church thereby has been greatly grieved in his passing. Resolved 2nd. That we have as brethren no words with which to express our sorrow for his tragic death nor have we words to express to his bereaved wife and children our sincere and deep sympathy for them in the loss which they have sustained in the death of our beloved brother Pass, nor have we words to express to them our heartfelt sympathy for them in their affliction. Resolved 3rd. That in it all we rest our hope and faith in the Lord Jesus, to whom our brother has committed himself, believing that our blessed Lord will care for the widow and his orphans. Resolved 4th. That a copy of these resolutions be given to the widow, sister Daisy Pass, as an expression of the church's love for and faith in Brother Pass and that a copy be spread upon the minutes of the church and also a copy sent to the Oglethorpe Echo for publication.
