This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Cheryl Crowder ==================================================================== Estate File for John Rainey Oglethorpe Co, GA 1822 Annual Returns 1822-1832 Bond Guardian 1821, 1830, 1832 Inventory 1822 Adaline Guardian Bond Oglethorpe County, Georgia Know all men by these presents, that we Francis Griffith, Henry English, and George Radin are held and firmly bound unto their honors the justice of the Inferior court, sitting for Ordinary purposes, and their successors in office, in the just and full sum of $300 for the payment of which sum, to the said justices and their successors in office, we bind ourselves, our heirs, exectors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals, and dated this 11th day of Jan 1830. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the said Francis Griffith is this day appointed guardian to Adeline, orphan of said John B. Rainey, deceased, now if the Francis Griffith do well and truly demean himself as guardian aforesaid, agreeable to letters of guardianship, bearing even date herewith, and agreeable to law in such case made and provided, the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
