Oglethorpe County Minute Book 1813 – 1830, page 187

Georgia             }  To the Honorable the Court of Ordinary for said County
Oglethorpe County   }

It appearing to the court that Jouett Davenport the only Executor qualified in 
the last will and testament of Francis Davenport decd resides out of the 
county.  On motion of Counsel it is ordered that he be permitted to make his 
returns in Clark County where he now resides.  And that the clerk of this court 
be required to furnish the said Executor with a copy of all the records 
concerning the estate in order that they may be copied in the office to which 
they shall be removed viz Clark County Georgia.
