Oglethorpe County, Deed Book G, p. 43

This Indenture was made & entered into this Seventeenth day of September 
eighteen hundred & ten Between Richard Bellamy of the one part & Nicholas 
Johnson of the other both of the County of Oglethorpe & State of Georgia 
Witnesseth that the said Bellamy for and in Consideration of the sum of fifteen 
hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge 
hath this day bargained & sold and released unto the said Johnson a certain 
tract of land Situated & lying in the county & State aforesaid Bounded on the 
North by broad river East by Nicholas M. Marks land & on all other sides by the 
Lands of Said Johnson containing two hundred acres more or less with all & 
singular the appurtenances there unto belonging in good and sufficient title to 
which said tract of land I bind myself to warrant & defend myself my heirs & 
against the Claim or Claims of all persons whatsoever, In Testimony whereof I 
have hereunto set my hand & Seal this day & date above written ---
