Black May 19, 2005 Georgia } This indenture made this sixth day of October Oglethorpe County } one thousand eight hundred and twenty three between Lemuel Black of the state and county aforesaid and Mathew J Black of the said state and county showeth in consideration of the sum of two hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge the aforesaid Lemuel Black has this day bargained sold released and granted unto the aforesaid Mathew J. Black all that tract or parcel of land lying on the waters of the Bever Dam in said county of Oglethorpe said to contain fifty five acres more or less originally granted to John Festnog and being a part of a survey granted to the said John Festnog the lines as follows Beginning at R.O. running south 38 East 18 chains N 7 chains to R.O. thence N 50 E. 17. chains 40 links to a post oak N 87 E 10 to a hickory thence N 13 chains 80 links to a red Oak thence W 83 W 8 chains to a R.O. thence S 76 W 65 chains 50 links to a dogwood N 76 W 8 chains 50 links to a W.O. thence S 44 W 6 chains to the beginning together with all and singular the appurtenances thereon or therewith belonging in any wise in fee simple to him the said Mathew J.
