1818- November 9, 1818 Oglethorpe County State of Georgia: Indenture between 
Mark Ragan to Hamilton Ragan $560 land on the waters of Beaverdam Creek 
orginally granted to James McCommon 
beginning on a pine knot corner on Popes line thence south 35E 22 ch. to a gum 
corner thence N 55 3 chains and 50 links to a pine knot corner then with H. 
Allen Line S 35E to a Ironwood corner on the Long Branch, thence up said 
branch to a pine knot corner on J. Smith line thence 35W to a Spanish Oak 
corner thence N55 E on Popes line to the beginning corner containing 183
