Georgia                 	This Indenture made this fifth day of February 
in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred ninty & five between James 
Goolsby Jur & Sary his wife of the County of Oglethorpe & State of Georgia of 
the one part & Burges Goolsby of the County of Larance  State of South Carolina 
of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Goolsbey Jur & Saray his wife 
hath for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty pounds Sterling Money of the 
State of Georgia then in hand paid by the said Burges Goolsbey the receipt 
whereof the said James Goolsbey Junr & Saray his wife doth hereby acknowledge 
hath granted bargained sold & confirmed and do by these presents Grant Bargain 
sell and confirm unto the sd Burges Goolsby his Heirs & assigns forever all 
that tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the county of 
Oglethorpe & State of Georgia on the Water of Millstone Creek butting & bound 
as follows beginning at a post Oak corner near to Daniel Saffold & Joseph Cash 
corner thence with the line of the Grant S 30 E. to Hickory corner thence with 
the sd Goolsby N. 10 E. 44 chain 79 links to white Oak corner thence with said 
Grant N. 30 10 to stake corner thence a new Line made by the parties to the 
beginning it Being part of larger tract a Land Granted to James Goolsby bearing 
date the 24th may 1786 containing by estimation one hundred & fifty acres of 
land be the same more or less together with all & singular the rights members 
and appurtenances there of whatsoever to the sd tract or parcel of Land being 
belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the sd tract or parcel of Land 
aforesaid & every part thereof  To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of 
Land with all and singular the premises there unto belonging as aforesd and 
every part thereof with their and every of their rights members and 
appurtenances thereof unto the said Burges Goolsby his Heirs and assigns to the 
to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said burges Goolsby his 
Heirs & Assigns forever and the said James Goolsby Junr & Sarah his wife the 
said tract or parcel of Land unto the said Burges Goolsby his Heirs and assigns 
against them the said James Goolsbey Junr & Sarah his and their Heirs and 
against all and every other person whatsoever shall and will warrant & forever 
defend by these presents in Witness whereof the said James Goolsby Junr & Sarah 
his wife hath hereunto set there hands and affixed there Seals the day and year 
above written
