    This Indenture Made this first day of June in the year of Our Lord
 One thousand Seven hundred & ninety nine Between Benjamin Fry & 
Mary his Wife of the County of Oglethorpe & State of Georgia of the 
one part & Daniel Holderfield of the County & State aforesaid of the 
Other part  Witnesseth that the Said Benjamin Fry & Mary his Wife 
hath for & in Consideration of the Sum of five hundred dollars to them 
in hand paid by the Said Daniel Holderfield at or before the Sealing & 
Delivery of these presents the receipt Whereof they do hereby acknowledge 
have Granted Bargained & Sold, released & Confirmed & do by these 
presents Grant Bargain Sell release & Confirm unto the Said Daniel 
Holderfield his heirs & assigns forever all that Tract or parcel of Land 
Containing by Estimation One hundred & fifty Three acres lying & being 
in the County of Oglethorpe on the Waters of Macks Creek & Bounded as 
Followeth.  Beginning at a pine on D___ Thorntons line & with his Line 
South forty East one hundred & Twenty Two poles to a White Oak thence 
North fifty East Twenty Eight poles to a poplar then South forty East Twenty 
poles to a pine thence North fifty East one hundred poles to a pine.  Thence 
North Twenty West Fifty poles to a White Oak, Thence North Twenty East 
forty poles to a pine.  Thence North forty West, Eighty Two poles to a pine 
on James Pages line & with his line South forty five West One hundred Eighty 
Six poles to the Beginning, Together with all & Singular the rights members & 
appertenances thereof Whatsoever to the Said Tract of Land Being Belonging 
or in anywise appertaining & the remainders Reversions rents issues & profits 
thereof & every part thereof to have & to hold the Said Tract of Land & all 
and Singular the premises & appertenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid 
& every part thereof unto the Said Daniel Holderfield his heirs & assigns to 
the only proper use Benefit & behoof of him the Said Daniel Holderfield his 
heirs & assigns forever & premises aforesaid & Every part thereof unto the 
Said Daniel Holderfield His Heirs & assigns Against them the Said Benjamin 
Fry & Mary his wife & their heirs & assigns & all & every person or persons 
Whatsoever Shall warrant & forever Defend by these presents  In Witness 
whereof the Said Benjamin Fry & Mary his Wife hath hereunto Set their hands 
& affixed their Seals the day & year above written
